specifications): Vine with stone leaves and glass spheres 5" diam. 20.75" tall These uniquely crafted vases incorporate a technique that is an adaptation of one the arts of the first Roman architects. In the early 1900's it was revived as a means of producing "cast stone" or concrete. Sand casting is not used very often today because of the introduction of more modern mold material. I chose this method because it gives my pieces an organic look. These one of a kind vases include embedded materials such as steel or glass to produce a very contemporary feel.
