Lightning Strike

Another in the "fractured series" tables, this square concrete tabletop features random cracks in the center bordered by 1 ¾" of darker concrete. After the curing process, some grouting is selectively applied leaving most of the cracks exposed. The table is then polished with a diamond grinder and hand seal and waxed for a smooth surface. The concrete rests on a high quality stainless steel base with an industrial finish. Ironically, the artist created this table during a lightning storm and saw just that in his design, hence the name.
